Quick ref:

The mainstream, AKA Earth 616, version of Peter Parker, the Spectacular Spider-Man!

At fifteen years old, he was bitten by a radioactive spider and gained amazing powers but quickly learned that with great power must also come great responsibility when he used his powers for personal gain without regard for others. He's been web slinging for more than ten years and everyone still thinks he's a weirdo loser.

Canon point: Nebulous! I tend to play him as up to date with current goings on, but swing him back and forth along the timeline for whatever thread I'm doing. I'm at least familiar with most canon points.
Age: Older than the kids, younger than the adults. Somewhere between 25 and 29, but Marvel will never let him hit 30 so never that. I do play teenage Peter, but he has a pretty different personality.
Relationship status: Also nebulous! I usually play him as single (and hating it) unless a thread calls for something else. If you happen to play one of his love interests, feel free to assume they're together or not at your convenience.
Job status: Extremely nebulous! In the comics, he's currently unemployed, but any of his many jobs might come up.
Team Status: He's probably an Avenger. He quits every other week but he can't stay mad at them.
Identity Status: Peter, aside from that one time he showed the entire world his face for some reason which has been magically erased from time, is noted to be exceptionally secretive about his identity. Unless your character is canonically aware Peter Parker is Spider-Man or assumed CR is notably close, the assumption is he won't reveal his identity. Even being in a relationship, with either identity, is no guarantee.

Backtagging: Absolutely. I sometimes feel one thread more than another and will wobble around on what I'm doing.
Fourthwalling: Because I'm weird you're free to absolutely go all out when he's Spider-Man, but when he's Peter please keep it subtle.
Shipping: Yeah boi. I play him as largely straight but sometimes life goes places you don't expect. He'd bang Thor. Who wouldn't?
Violence: He's Spider-Man. He'll fight you. He'll fight everyone. He'll fight himself (and frequently does). I'm a-okay with him getting seriously hurt or killed, it's happened before.
